About Sydney
I believe the purpose of counseling is for individuals to tap into their inner knowing, develop a deeper understanding of their true selves, identify the life experiences that contribute to present day problems, and to move forward in the most authentic way possible. I serve as a guide who supports my clients in the process of finding their own answers and taking responsibility for creating solutions and action in their life. I work with individuals and couples of all age groups. I have extensive experience working with college students.
I graduated from CMU's Master of Professional Counseling program in August 2019. I have worked in both college and private practice settings for the past several years. I have completed trainings in Mindful Self-Compassion, Prepare/Enrich, Telehealth for Mental Health Professionals, and Motivational Interviewing. You can find my Psychology Today profile here.
